Peter has been with Demand Management Systems for over 6 years, leading many software implementations and consulting projects in the areas of Forecasting, Distribution Planning, Replenishment Planning, Inventory Optimisation, Sales and Operation Planning and customized business reporting.

Career Summary:

Peter’s background includes 5 years in the manufacturing industry with Marconi Commerce Systems Aust. (Gilbarco Aust.). Marconi manufacture and service point of sale and fuel dispensing equipment for the petroleum industry. Peter’s responsibilities as a Senior Production Planner were planning and scheduling of the company’s multi product assembly lines, fabrication and subassembly work centres.

During this time Peter has gained experience in:

  • Manufacturing Planning for make to stock, assemble to order and make to order environments.
  • Production/Methods engineering.
  • Spares and options Forecasting.
  • ISO 9001 quality auditing.
  • Subcontract Outsourcing and VMI.
  • Implementing Kanban Systems and shop floor control systems.

Peter also brings 2 years IT experience working for Bluefire Information Technology. Peter’s role with Bluefire was to provide sales and support for hardware, networks, connectivity and Internet services, for small - mid sized networks.
