ST. LOUIS, 31 January, 2002 — Demand Solutions, the comprehensive suite of supply chain planning and replenishment tools from Demand Management, Inc., has been named to the "Consumer Goods Technology 100" list and was ranked fifth overall in the publication's supply chain planning "Best of Breed" list. The annual survey results, published in the magazine's January issue, ranks companies on their Recognition Factor and Customer Experience. Demand Solutions™ received a 5.52 score in Customer Experience out of a possible seven. Only database software behemoth Oracle scored higher in the category.

"Demand Solutions™ was singled out by users of the software for the high quality of its service and support and the product's ease of use," said John Hall, managing editor of CGT. "Just making the list is a difficult thing to do. You have to grab the attention of industry executives and impress them with the quality of your product. Demand Solutions has obviously done that."

Survey respondents were asked to rate companies on three points: Performance and Usability, ROI and Total Cost of Operation, and Support and Compliance. "Considering the survey's criteria we're not surprised to receive such high marks," said Mike Campbell, President and CEO of Demand Management. "These are the areas we have focused on for more than 16 years now."

Campbell noted that the publication quoted a user who attributed the systems success to sticking to the basics.

"As the complexity of technology increases, this validates our approach," Campbell said. "I believe the failures associated with some of our larger competitors have occurred because they became enamored with the technology and strayed from those basics."
