Feedback is a "lite" version of Demand SolutionsTM that we’ve specifically designed for remote use. Feedback enables your sales representatives or product managers - the people who are closest to the source of demand – to provide their input into the forecasts.
The basic idea behind Feedback is that it's easier to change a forecast than it is to create a forecast. Feedback enables you to provide each sales person with a suggested forecast for each of his or her items. They can enter Adjusted Forecasts, along with Notes to document the reasons for their adjustments. When their review is complete, the forecast adjustments can be transmitted directly back to your central forecasting system.
By providing your sales people with a tool like Feedback (and, more importantly, the data that's provided in Feedback), you will enable them to make much more effective use of their time. By obtaining this input from the people with the most direct impact on your company’s demand, your forecast updates will be more timely and accurate. And, by providing your sales reps with feedback on their forecast performance, you’ll find that forecasting will take on a much higher level of priority.
